Take stock of all you’ve accomplished in 2021

2021 was likely a whirlwind of a year for you. Some really exciting things happened, like the first woman of color taking her place as vice president in the White House, and there were some curveballs thrown, like the delta variant. There were undoubtedly some high highs and some low lows for you too.

As this year wraps up and we look forward to the next, it’s easy to get caught up in what went wrong or what you weren’t able to accomplish. But it is so important to take stock of what you did accomplish, even if those accomplishments look different than expected.

First and foremost, give yourself a pat on the back for making it to the end of this year. That’s a huge feat! To help you reflect on the past year and look forward to another, we’ve created some journal prompts just for you!

What were your biggest wins this year?

What were your biggest challenges?

What was one unexpected win?

What was one unexpected challenge?

What did your self-care routine look like this year, and what’s one way you can take better care of yourself in 2022?

Who did you appreciate most this year?

What were your 3 top priorities this year and what would you like to re-prioritize in 2022?

How satisfied were you with your work this year?

How satisfied were you with your relationships this year?

What made you curious this year that you could explore more in the new year?

List 10 things you were grateful for this year.

What was your smallest win from this morning?

What feelings came up most for you in 2021?

One word to describe 2021 went.

One word to describe how you want 2022 to go.

It’s December 31, 2022. What does your life look like?

This time of year is always filled with reflection. We hope you can take a minute (or a lot of minutes!) between all of the family time, shopping, and cookie decoration to reflect on all you’ve accomplished this year.
